Bilfinger GVA opened its new 50,000 SQ FT state-of-the-art London HQ last week following a 33 per cent rise in annual profits.
Bilfinger GVA’s 500 London-based staff moved into their new hi-tech office at 65 Gresham in the heart of the City of London as the business reported a marked rise in turnover to more than £150m, and a 33 per cent rise in profit for the year to 30 April 2014.
The new office will assist Bilfinger GVA’s pan-European growth as it looks to establish a strong base in the heart of Europe’s financial centre.
GVA’s accounts illustrate how revenues increased by 7 per cent to £157.6m, up from £147.3m the previous year. The significant rise helped pre-tax profits to climb even higher, increasing upward from £7.8m in 2012/13 to £10.4m.

Bilfinger GVA merged with Bilfinger Real Estate, part of the €7.7bn-turnover global engineering and services group, to establish a new European real estate consultancy in July 2014.
Unveiling its new HQ coincides with Jason Sibthorpe, Senior Director and national head of Retail, stepping up to take over as head of Bilfinger GVA’s combined London business.
